Tornado Eirinn is my 2 year old daughter (oh my word – did I just type 2?  2!), Eirinn Elise.  She was born on March 7, 2006 at 10:55 am.  She came into this world in typical Tornado Eirinn fashion – when she wanted, which was four weeks early.  But she was big (6lbs, 14oz at 36 weeks is pretty hardy, if you ask me) and healthy and the prettiest baby ever.  Two years later and she still holds that record.  She is wild, gets into everything, shows no mercy, and sleeps as little as possible.  But she is my heart.

Here I am, in list-form, 20 bullets or less:

  • I love lists.  And bullets.  And right angles.  But that’s neither here nor there, whatever that means.
  • At the moment I am 27, but 30 is hiding around the corner sticking its evil, snake tongue at me, blowing raspberries.
  • I am married to a man who wishes to remain anonymous on the interweb in case someone steals his identity or stalks him or something crazy like that.
  • Speaking of crazy, my middle name is Lee and I once dumped a guy over the internet via mIRC chat because he insisted on calling me ‘Jenny Lee, Country Singing Superstar.’  Not cool, buddy.
  • I am a proud government lackey.  I love my job, but it sure isn’t a career.
  • I have ambitions of being ambitious, but haven’t found an outlet yet.  I have interests, but nothing that is getting me paid.
  • I am an amateur blogger, fledgling aspiring graphic artist (ha!!!), and a non-profit social group co-founder.
  • I watch too much tv because I have low standards and a long attention span.
  • Nothing makes me more angry than telling me I’m angry before I’m angry.
  • I bake weekly.  Therefore, I eat too much butter and too much sugar.
  • Lucky for me, I was blessed with a high motabolism.  Hopefully I was also bequeathed a strong heart.
  • I only use words like ‘bequeathed’ when I write.
  • I don’t get near enough sleep (see Eirinn’s bio).
  • I went to college for (in order): journalism (quit after one year – not for me, thanks), general arts & science (just took that to stay in school while I figure out what my calling was), business – human resources.  I actually got my diploma in that one.  Three years of college paid for in cash and I don’t use one single ounce of the knowledge I earned.
  • When I was in college, I was a manager – excuse me, supervisor – at a fast food restaurant.  I still have dreams about bossing people around in that stinkhole.  I was quite the drill sergeant.
  • I love doughnuts.  Everything about them.  If I could marry a doughnut, I would.  Especially if it had sprinkles.  And did the laundry.
  • I have freakishly large hands.  Like the infamous Seinfeld ‘man hands’.  Almost.  If you don’t believe me, I’ll show you.  And I bet they’re bigger than yours.  18.75 cms or 7.25″ to be exact.
  • I watch UFC, but I am not a redneck, no matter what my husband tells you.  I don’t Christmas shop at the 7-11, my family tree has many branches, and my house is not on wheels.
  • I haven’t had a drink of alcohol in over two years.  Not that I have anything against it, I just don’t like headaches or puking or the taste.  God granted me the serenity to accept the things I could not change.  No, I didn’t go to AA.  He just did, ok?  He must like me better than you.
  • That’s me down there having fun with my daughter, who is now the most important person in the world.  And the cutest.  And the smartest.  And the funniest.

    Hi Eirinn and Mum
Came across your funny website by chance as was looking up the entries for Eirinn. My 11 year son is called Eirinn and I kinda thought we were the only folk in the worrld who gave their child such a lovely name. Nice to see there are others too, plus a rather nice font to boot! Anyway thought I would send our best wishes from the other side of the world, so greetings from Scotland.
