Hi. I am a professor at the University of Arkansas in the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food, and Life Sciences. I am involved in a research and education project related to promoting agritourism, and I am putting together a poster presentation on this topic for an upcoming conference.

Using a Google image search, my colleagues and I found this great photo of your Eirinn in the pumpkin patch. We would like to use it as the the primary image in our poster.

The poster will be seen by a couple hundred agricultural education professors at a research conference in Reno, NV. The photo will be used for no other purpose.

We hope you will give us your permission to use your photo. Thanks.

Oh, my god. I do that crying thing too!! I didn't cry at my dad's funeral and people thought it was kind of weird. It's just that I don't cry when I'm happy or sad. I only bawl my eyes out when I'm angry. I must admit, as a lawyer I've had to differentiate between "angry" and just disagreeing on a point -- otherwise that whole court thing would be a little uncomfortable for everyone else!!

Oh, I totally cry when I'm mad, too. People always misinterpret it and think I'm sad and try to "cheer me up". Often it's the person I'm mad at who tries to do this, which makes me more mad and makes me cry more. Gah.

And I, too, only ever drink ginger ale if I'm sick. If I drink it when I'm well it makes me feel sick.

Oh, it's so comforting when people have similar quirks. Makes me feel a little less weird.

What a wonderful letter Jenny! I have been doing the same for my kids and each year on their birthday I write them a letter about how intelligent, adorable, inspiring and even bratty they have been!! I hope you are printing off every single one of your blogs and keeping a binder for Eirinn so she can see what a great Mommy you are (and also how you are soooooo funny!!)

Congratulations!!! 2 princesses!! Either way it is sooo exciting for Eirinn to have a sibling and for you guys to become a family of 4! I should have known it was a girl though since I had a dream about you having a boy and I really did think it was going to be a boy. I am 99% wrong whenever I guess a gender of anyone's baby (including my 2nd pregnancy which I would have bet my life was another girl). Anyway, that really is exciting that Eirinn will have a built in BFF! Now you and AH can start narrowing down names which is always a fun part of being preggers! Although, you could just stick with Fetapus!
